Travel to the historic Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya (approx. 30 minutes). This ancient temple is believed to have been visited by the Buddha during his third visit to Sri Lanka. The temple is renowned for its stunning murals by Solias Mendis and its rich history.

Visit the magnificent Ruwanwelisaya Stupa, one of the world's tallest ancient monuments. Attend the evening puja ceremony for a truly spiritual experience.
Visit Thuparamaya, the first dagoba built in Sri Lanka after the introduction of Buddhism. Explore other sacred sites including Lovamahapaya (Brazen Palace), Abhayagiri Stupa, and Jetavanarama Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the ancient world.
Visit the Samadhi Buddha statue, a masterpiece of ancient Sri Lankan sculpture. Explore the ancient pools and moonstones at the Abhayagiri complex.
Visit the Isurumuniya Rock Temple, known for its famous "Lovers" carving and tranquil setting. Witness the sunset over the ancient reservoirs.
Journey to Mihintale (approx. 30 minutes), the site where Buddhism was introduced to Sri Lanka by Arahat Mahinda in 247 BCE. Climb the 1840 steps to the summit, visiting the Maha Stupa, the Relic House, and the Aradhana Gala (Meditation Rock). Mihintale is one of the 16 Solosmasthana sacred sites.
